About Gongbusaurus
Gongbusaurus was a plant-eating early ornithischian that lived in the Middle Jurassic to Late Jurassic, 168 to 155 million years ago. It belongs to the family Fabrosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 5 finds of Gongbusaurus, from China. Its fossils come from rocks including the Shishugou Formation and the Shaximiao Formation. It was named by Dong et al. in 1983.
