  1. Triassic252 to 201 million years agoThe first dinosaurs appear on a hot supercontinent, Pangaea, where all the land is joined.
  2. Jurassic201 to 145 million years agoPangaea splits apart. Giant long-necked sauropods and plated stegosaurs spread across the land.
  3. Cretaceous145 to 66 million years agoFlowering plants spread and T. rex and Triceratops appear, until an asteroid ends the age of dinosaurs.
