About Nanosaurus
Nanosaurus was a plant-eating early ornithischian that lived in the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous, 155 to 143 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 29 finds of Nanosaurus, from Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Its fossils come from the Morrison Formation. It was named by Marsh in 1877.
