Dinosaurs found in
Japan
17 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Japan, from 18 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Hypsilophodon, Fukuiraptor and Segnosaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Kitadani Formation, the Ohyamashimo Formation, the Jobu Formation, the Kuwajima Formation and the Hakobuchi Formation.
