Dinosaurs found in
Madagascar
9 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Madagascar, from 67 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Majungasaurus, Rapetosaurus and Masiakasaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Maevarano Formation, the Isalo IIIb Formation, the Isalo III Formation and the Ambolafotsy Formation.
