Aegyptosaurus was a plant-eating sauropod that lived in the Early Cretaceous to Late Cretaceous, 143 to 94 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 6 finds of Aegyptosaurus, from Egypt and Niger. Its fossils come from rocks including the Baharîje Formation, the Echkar Formation and the Irhazer Shales Formation. It was named by Stromer in 1932.
