Aeolosaurus was a plant-eating sauropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 6 finds of Aeolosaurus, from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Its fossils come from rocks including the Allen Formation, the Angostura Colorada Formation and the Asencio Formation. It was named by Powell in 1987.
