45 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Brazil, from 58 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Irritator, Oxalaia and Pycnonemosaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Santa Maria Formation, the Serra da Galga Formation, the Caturrita Formation, the Adamantina Formation and the Romualdo Formation.
