Dinosaurs found in
Tanzania
17 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Tanzania, from 114 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Ceratosaurus, Giraffatitan and Kentrosaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Tendaguru Formation, the Manda Beds Formation and the Galula Formation.
