Arcovenator was a meat-eating theropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Abelisauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 3 finds of Arcovenator, from Spain and France. Its fossils come from rocks including the Argiles rutilantes Formation, the Sierra Perenchiza Formation and the Vitoria Formation. It was named by Tortosa et al. in 2014.
