About Rhabdodon
Rhabdodon was a plant-eating ornithopod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Rhabdodontidae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 31 finds of Rhabdodon, from France and Spain. A few finds have also been reported from Austria and Romania. Its fossils come from rocks including the Grès à Reptiles Formation, the Marnes Rouges Inférieures Formation and the Grès de Labarre Formation. It was named by Matheron in 1869.
