Nodosaurus was a plant-eating ankylosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 101 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Nodosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 3 finds of Nodosaurus, from Wyoming and Alberta. Its fossils come from rocks including the Dinosaur Park Formation, the Frontier Formation and the Lance Formation. It was named by Marsh in 1889.
