Syntarsus was a meat-eating theropod that lived in the Early Jurassic, 201 to 184 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 10 finds of Syntarsus, from Arizona. Its fossils come from rocks including the Kayenta Formation, the Elliot Formation and the Moenave Formation. It was named by Raath in 1969.
