About Limaysaurus
Limaysaurus was a plant-eating sauropod that lived in the Early Cretaceous, 113 to 106 million years ago. It belongs to the family Rebbachisauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 5 finds of Limaysaurus, from Argentina. Its fossils come from rocks including the Candeleros Formation and the Huincul Formation. It was named by Salgado et al. in 2004.
