About Paronychodon
Paronychodon was a meat-eating theropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 86 to 66 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 105 finds of Paronychodon, from Alberta, Wyoming and Montana. One find has also been reported from Portugal. Its fossils come from rocks including the Hell Creek Formation, the Oldman Formation and the Dinosaur Park Formation. It was named by Cope in 1876.
