Dinosaurs found in
Romania
17 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Romania, from 100 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Hypsilophodon, Magyarosaurus and Zalmoxes.
Most of the fossils come from the Sînpetru Formation, the Densuș-Ciula Formation, the Sebeş Formation, the Pui Beds Formation and the Râul Mare Formation.
