Nemegtosaurus was a plant-eating sauropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Nemegtosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 2 finds of Nemegtosaurus, from China and Mongolia. Its fossils come from rocks including the Nemegt Formation and the Subashi Formation. It was named by Nowinski in 1971.
