Saichania was a plant-eating ankylosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 101 to 72 million years ago. It belongs to the family Ankylosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 5 finds of Saichania, from Mongolia and China. Its fossils come from rocks including the Baruungoyot Formation and the Huiquanpu Formation. It was named by Maryanska in 1977.
