About Stegoceras
Stegoceras was a plant-eating pachycephalosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 72 million years ago.
The Paleobiology Database lists 43 finds of Stegoceras, from Alberta, Montana and New Mexico. Its fossils come from rocks including the Judith River Formation, the Dinosaur Park Formation and the Fruitland Formation. It was named by Lambe in 1902.
