Heyuannia was an omnivorous theropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Oviraptoridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 2 finds of Heyuannia, from China and Mongolia. Its fossils come from rocks including the Baruungoyot Formation and the Dongyuan Formation. It was named by Lü in 2003.
