About Acheroraptor
Acheroraptor was a meat-eating theropod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 72 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Dromaeosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 3 finds of Acheroraptor, from Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. Its fossils come from rocks including the Hell Creek Formation and the Lance Formation. It was named by Evans et al. in 2013.
