31 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Texas, United States, from 77 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Acrocanthosaurus, Coelophysis and Alamosaurus.

Most of the fossils come from the Aguja Formation, the Javelina Formation, the Twin Mountains Formation, the Cooper Canyon Formation and the Paluxy Formation.
