About Kritosaurus
Kritosaurus was a plant-eating ornithopod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Hadrosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 14 finds of Kritosaurus, from New Mexico, Texas and Montana. Its fossils come from rocks including the Kirtland Formation, the Aguja Formation and the Fruitland Formation. It was named by Brown in 1910.
