Acristavus was a plant-eating ornithopod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 72 million years ago. It belongs to the family Hadrosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 2 finds of Acristavus, from Montana and Utah. Its fossils come from rocks including the Two Medicine Formation and the Wahweap Formation. It was named by Gates et al. in 2011.
