About Hypacrosaurus
Hypacrosaurus was a plant-eating ornithopod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 66 million years ago. It belongs to the family Hadrosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 34 finds of Hypacrosaurus, from Alberta and Montana. Its fossils come from rocks including the Two Medicine Formation, the Horseshoe Canyon Formation and the Oldman Formation. It was named by Brown in 1913.
