About Prosaurolophus
Prosaurolophus was a plant-eating ornithopod that lived in the Late Cretaceous, 84 to 72 million years ago. It belongs to the family Hadrosauridae.
The Paleobiology Database lists 15 finds of Prosaurolophus, from Alberta and Montana. Its fossils come from rocks including the Dinosaur Park Formation, the Bearpaw Shale Formation and the Two Medicine Formation. It was named by Brown in 1916.
