56 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Wyoming, United States, from 540 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Stegosaurus.

Most of the fossils come from the Morrison Formation, the Lance Formation, the Ferris Formation, the Cloverly Formation and the Mesaverde Formation.
