80 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Alberta, Canada, from 736 recorded finds in the Paleobiology Database. The best known are Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus.

Most of the fossils come from the Dinosaur Park Formation, the Oldman Formation, the Horseshoe Canyon Formation, the Milk River Formation and the Foremost Formation.
